MUD Music Council is a community, not-for-profit initiative, aiming to: “create more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn about, listen to, create and perform music in the Milton Ulladulla District, in collaboration with local and visiting musicians.”

Last year, MUD Music Council joined Escape Artfest to put music on the program for the first time. This year, the music program has three main elements:

INTERNATIONAL – world-class acts right here on our doorstep at beautiful Milton Theatre. Don’t dare miss some of the best musicians in the world.
LOCAL – the best of our homegrown professional and semi-pro musicians in the limelight.

Fri 2nd October 8pm Richard Clapton Girls on the Avenue, Deep Water, Best Years of Our Lives, Capricorn Dancer… Up close and personal with one of the enduring and most-respected figures in the Australian music industry. He brings his five piece band to Milton for the first time. $45/$35 conc

Sat 3rd October 8pm Melinda Schneider This five-time Golden Guitar winning singer/songwriter is one of Country Music’s biggest names, writing about life’s intense experiences in her inimitable, forthright way. Be yourself: everybody else is taken. $28/$20 conc

Sun 4th October, 8pm Bluestone Junction With a sound straight off the set of O, Brother Where Art Thou this is brand new bluegrass the old fashioned way: stellar harmonies, fine musicianship and foot-stomping rhythms – all acoustic and around a single mic. Special guest is Jonno Zilber. Dressed in black with slicked up hair, this multi award-winning purveyor of sinister swing and blues was one of the hits at the recent National Folk Festival.’ $27/$17 conc
